TWO EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENTS

ANNOUNCING AN ARTICLE NEWLY PUBLISHED IN “STRATEGIC HR REVIEW”

I am delighted and honored to be able to write that my article—“Why Employee Engagement Isn’t Working”—has just been published in "Strategic HR Review", a prestigious (he said, with all due immodesty) UK-based journal.  You can read it by going to the ARTICLES section of this website and clicking on the title.

ANNOUNCING A “FRIENDS AND FAMILY PROGRAM”!

We’re getting near the wire for the voting for 2015’s “Leadership Book of the Year”, and my book, Otherwise Engaged, is one of the nominees.  (Have I mentioned that before?)  The deadline is next Monday at 6:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time), so there are just 4 days to go.

With that in mind, I am happy to announce a new “Friends and Family Program”.  Here’s what’s involved.  For every friend and/or family member you are able to entice to weigh in on behalf of book...I will get another vote!  And my gratitude to you will be proportionally higher!!

All they have to do is click here then scroll down and click on the VOTE NOW button.  That will bring them to a page listing all of the nominees.  Scroll down a bit more to the thumbnail of the cover of Otherwise Engaged, click on the radio button, and their vote will have been cast.

And since these Musings are supposed to be about the concept of Employee Engagement, let me offer this:  As cheesy as these daily importunings have been, they at least provide ample evidence that I, someone who is self-EMPLOYED, am deeply ENGAGED in the voting process.
